Registration is OPEN for the 2016-2017 dance season! 

IDT offers Competition Teams (6-18 years old) and non-competing classes (3- adult) for every dancer in your family. Space is already limited so call/text today (503-1303) to check availability and to reserve your dancer's spot on an exciting Championship IDT Team or specialty class. 

IDT provides excellent instruction from quality instructors (BFA or BS degree) and the choice of competing on a team, (1-2 competitions/year, 1 required class/week), competing on a more regular basis (3-4 times/year), performing in parades and at Stadium of Fire, or just taking great classes to build technical skills and self-esteem.

Congratulations to all of the dancers who attended the IDT Senior Team Summer Dance Camp this week, and accepted the challenge of learning 4 full 1:30-2:00 pieces in 4 different genres in 12 hours over 3 days. 

They were able to learn three pieces choreographed by IDT owner/director @karissamolen and 1 killer hip hop choreographed by professional hip hop choreographer @zoeygurl07 

They performed all 4 of them with all kinds of professionalism and attitude today. Well done dancers!! Thank you amazing choreographers! ‪#‎intensitydanceteam‬ ‪#‎noregrets‬

Congratulations to all of the IDT dancers who performed beautifully during last night's Stadium of Fire! 

A big thank you to each dancer who worked so hard over the past two months learning the routines and then during the final 8-14 hour long rehearsals over the past three days at LaVell Edwards Stadium filled with early mornings, incredible heat, late nights, always winning the loudest studio roll call, being sprayed down by amazing parent volunteers, reapplying sunscreen, chugging frozen Gatorade, remembering everything on the dancer checklist every day, being patient with other studio dancers who refused to give up their chasse when they were supposed to shuffle @emily_gabler, not running over someone when they did not want to travel @becca_krebs, and always being professional every moment of every day. 

You stood out amongst the dancers as pros and made your director @karissamolen very proud! 

Karissa wants to send a huge THANK YOU to the parents who donated supplies, snacks, coolers, sprayers, canopies and most importantly, their time to make this whole thing work.

Congratulations to all of the dancers (3-6 years old) who attended the 

IDT Creative Movement Summer Dance Camp this week where they learned about ballet technique, shapes, tempo, locomotor movements, level changes and other exciting movement qualities and techniques that celebrated their individual creativity. 

They showed what they learned during a 1:30 performance piece celebrating "Finding Dory" in front of their devoted fans. 

Thank you to all of the family and friends who took the time to come and cheer them on. 

They could not have been more adorable!

Even though it is in the middle of summer, and the incredible IDT Summer Camps are continuing through July, Karissa is thrilled to announce that 

Registration Opens TODAY for the 2016-2017 Dance Season at Intensity Dance Team (IDT)! 

The schedule is attached for the exciting classes and competition teams offered at the new IDT studio this fall! IDT is adding a ballet program, a tumbling program, a morning and afternoon Creative Movement program, morning and evening Adult Dance/Fitness Classes, a Boys Hip Hop Class and other amazing classes, including two more competition teams!

Every dancer will discover their movement abilities, explore different qualities such as; level changes, shaping, tempo,and character impressions. They will also learn beginning ballet technique. Karissa will teach them how to express themselves through movement in a fun performance piece they will perform for the parents on the last day of camp.

The IDT Creative Movement Dancers had their final performance of the 2016 Spring Session today to "When Will My Life Begin?" This is a video of the final rehearsal with Karissa before the adoring crowd arrived to watch them perform the dance elements they had learned during the session 
while wearing their beautiful princess dresses.
