Karissa is now accepting registrations for the next session of Creative Movement.

The 2014-2015 "Just Dance" Program begins in just a couple weeks (9/18)!

All Dancers Need to be Current Students at 

Soaring Wings International Montessori School in order to register.

There are only a few openings remaining in the 

Creative Movement Class (3-6 year olds)

 and the Hip Hop Class (6 - 12 year olds)

The official 2014-2015 IDT Dance Season begins in One Week (9/9)!! Thank you to all of the amazing IDT Dancers who are returning and welcome to all of the new IDT Dancers who are joining us for an incredibly successful 2014-2015 year of fun, learning, bonding and winning!!

While all IDT Teams are completely filled, names are being taken for waiting lists with a possibility of additional classes/teams being added to accommodate all of the new dancers.

Three spots just opened up in the IDT Creative Movement Program starting three weeks from today!! (9/23) While each class begins at 2:45 p.m. with circle time and that day's curriculum discussion, dancing will not begin until 3:00 p.m. after all students arrive. Snacks are provided at the end of each class, and they will be supervised by at least 2 teachers at all times. Call or text today if you would like to reserve one of the final openings available in this fun, new program!

The final dance camp of the summer was all kinds of fun!! A big thank you to all of the talented dancers who killed it as they learned a fun hip hop piece in 3 days and performed it with style and hip hop attitude in front of a cheering crowd!

The summer of 2014 has been a huge success with 7 amazing camps, summer classes, and Fair Days performances. Now on to the regular 2014-2015 dance season with classes beginning September 9th. There are only 1-2 spots remaining on 2 of the teams, 

with 2 other teams completely filled with waiting lists.

Grace and McKynlee's 2014 National Championship Duet!

IDT's summer performances at the Wasatch County Fair Days were a HUGE success!! 

Congratulations to Grace and McKynlee on another great performance of their 2014 national championship duet, 

Kameron on a spectacular performance of her 2015 Competitive Jazz solo, 

McKynlee on the beautiful performance of her 2015 Competitive Contemporary Solo, 

the IDT Junior Team's sassy performance of their summer camp jazz group number, 

and the specially selected IDT members of the Gold and Black Teams with the unforgettable performance of their summer camp Hip Hop group number!! 

Karissa is so proud of all of her dancers who performed today and is so grateful for their commitment to extra summer camps and practices that allowed them to come through with amazing performances for the lucky crowd today!!

Another fun summer dance camp at the Rec Center!! 

All of the dancers did a great job learning jazz, ballet and pom technique in a fun piece choreographed to 80's music. They even performed 2 pieces of their own original choreography, along with their group piece in 80's costumes for their proud parents!

Thank you to all of the dancers and parents for making the 2014 IDT Creative Movement Camp a huge success! The kids learned so much in just three days about tempo, spatial qualities, directional pathways, level changes, rhythmic cues, and the power movement has to express emotion and tell stories. Every dancer performed beautifully for their adoring families!

A huge "thank you" goes out to everyone involved in the 2014 IDT Senior Team Dance Camp for making it a complete success! Mashae choreographed an incredible contemporary piece. Kim's Jazz piece was amazing! Karissa finished up with adding a great Pom routine, along with 2 unforgettable Hip Hop pieces! Congratulations to every dancer for learning five challenging pieces in 3 days and then performing them in front of a very impressed crowd!!

This is the new t-shirt design for the custom black IDT t-shirts that each dancer who attends the IDT Junior Team II, IDT Junior Team, or IDT Senior Team will receive.

Intensity Dance Team 2014

The winning streak was complete with a sweep of FIRST PLACE awards for every IDT Competition Team on Saturday!

Congratulations to the IDT Gold Team, the IDT Black Team, and the IDT Senior Team for all taking FIRST PLACE in each of their competitive divisions, earning "High Gold" national honors for being awarded over 98% of the available points by the judges, and collecting perfect 10's along the way at the 2014 America On Stage Open Dance Nationals!

What an incredible National Championship weekend of First Place awards for the Intensity Dance Team, and their coach, Karissa Molen!!

IDT Creative Movement Summer Camp

After developing a very successful Creative Movement Dance Program in Park City, Karissa would like to offer this exciting program in a summer camp for kids 3-7 years old to participate in this fun experience that enhances creativity and develops a more intuitive connection to each individual's movement vocabulary.
